Kaupunkiympäristölautakunnan rakennusten ja yleisten alueiden jaosto esitti kaupunginhallitukselle Etu-Töölön lukion perusparannushankkeen 13.6.2019 päivätyn hankesuunnitelman hyväksymistä siten, että hankkeen enimmäislaajuus on 5 741 brm² ja rakentamisen enimmäishinta on arvonlisäverottomana 17 500 000 euroa 3/2019 kustannustasossa ehdolla, että kasvatus- ja koulutuslautakunta antaa hankesuunnitelmasta puoltavan lausunnon.

Rakennusten ja yleisten alueiden jaosto päätti oikeuttaa rakennukset ja yleiset alueet -palvelukokonaisuuden jatkamaan hankkeen suunnittelua odottamatta hankepäätöstä.
