The City Group Sub-committee of the City Board oversees the operations of the City’s foundations and subsidiary communities.
The Sub-committee monitors the operations of the Helsinki Group and ensures that the subsidiary communities and foundations belonging to the Group adhere to the goals set by the City Council and City Board. The Helsinki Group comprises roughly eighty subsidiary communities and foundations.
The City Group Sub-committee has nine members appointed by the City Council for a two-year period.
